Raymell Mourice Rice Education and Career

Raymell Mourice Rice (born January 22, 1987) is an American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Rutgers University, and was drafted by the Ravens in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. As of the 2013 season, he is ranked as the Ravens' second all-time leading rusher behind Jamal Lewis (7,801) with 5,940 yards, and also second in attempts (1,273). He is ranked second all-time for rushing touchdowns  and third for combined touchdowns  in Ravens history.

High school career

Rice was the primary running back at New Rochelle High School and led his team to a state title as a junior in 2003. Rice holds the state record for yards in a single game: he gained 462 yards on 42 carries on October 24, 2004.

2009 season

It was announced during training camp that Rice won the starting running back job over Willis McGahee for the 2009 NFL season, and that Le'Ron McClain would be switching back to full-time fullback duties. McClain and McGahee had been the primary running backs the previous year.

In the season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, Rice rushed for 108-yards on 19 carries, which was his second career 100-yard rushing game.

In week 3, Rice rushed for his first pro touchdown against the Browns. On October 11, 2009, he caught his first touchdown reception against the Cincinnati Bengals. On October 18, 2009, (Week 6) Rice led his team in both rushing and receiving yards against the Minnesota Vikings. He rushed for 77-yards off 10 carries, scoring 2 touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 117-yards in the loss. In week 14, Rice had career-bests 166 rushing yards and 216 total yards, scoring one touchdown. In week 16 at the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rice rushed for a career-high 30 times for 141 yards, which broke a Steelers streak of 32 consecutive games without a 100-yard rusher.

He finished the season with 254 carries for 1,339 yards and 7 touchdowns, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Rice was selected to the 2010 Pro Bowl, his first, on December 29, 2009.

In the wildcard playoff game against the New England Patriots on January 10, 2010, Rice scored an 83-yard touchdown on the first offensive play for the Ravens, the longest play for the Ravens that season, the longest rush of his NFL career and the 2nd longest rush in NFL postseason history. 2010 season

On December 20, 2010, against the New Orleans Saints, Rice amassed a career-best 233 yards from scrimmage (153 rushing and 80 receiving) to go along with two touchdowns. The 233 yards are also the third most in Ravens franchise history.[6] For his efforts, Rice was awarded his first AFC Offensive Player of the Week award. On January 9, 2011, in the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs, Rice became the first Ravens RB to have a receiving touchdown in a playoff game. Ray Rice finished the 2010 season with 1,220 total rushing yards, and 556 total receiving yards. This was his second straight season to amass 1000 rushing yards.

2011 season

The 2011 season started off well for Rice. In week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers Rice gained 107 yards rushing and 1 touchdown, while making 4 receptions for 42 yards and 1 touchdown. The Ravens would win that game 35 to 7. This performance was only the second time a running back had gained more than 100 rushing yards against the Steelers defense since the 2009 season, both belonging to Rice. In week 10 he threw his first career passing touchdown. It was a 1 yard completion to tight end Ed Dickson in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. In week 13 of the 2011 NFL season Rice ran for 204 yards on the Browns including a 68 yard run and 1 touchdown. Ray Rice had four games so far in the season where he has rushed for more than 100 yards, and has over 1000 yards rushing for a third straight season. For his play against the Patriots, Rice won AFC Offensive Player Of The Week. For his performance, Rice was also tabbed as the new cover athlete for the NFL Blitz video game by EA Sports available on XBLA and PSN. In the following game, Rice ran for 103 yards on 26 carries and averaged almost 4 yards per carry while scoring a touchdown and a losing fumble in the win against the Indianapolis Colts. In week 17 against the Bengals Rice rushed for 191 yards that includes a 70 yard touchdown run in the first two minutes of the game and then rushed for a 51 yard touchdown. Rice finished the season with 1364 yards off 291 attempts averaging 4.7 yards a carry. He also had 12 TDs. He was 2nd in the league in total rush yards and finished 1st in total yards from scrimmage. Rice had 704 receiving yards off 76 catches averaging 9.3 yards a reception. Rice was selected to his second Pro-Bowl in 2011 and voted to the NFL All Pro Team.

2012 season

On July 16, 2012, Rice agreed to a 5-year, $35 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens after being franchise tagged earlier in the offseason.
On November 25, 2012, the Ravens were down 3 with under 2 minutes left in the game away against the San Diego Chargers. The Ravens had the ball at their own 37 on a 4th and extremely long 29. Quarterback Joe Flacco passed short middle to Rice, who followed up by avoiding defenders for 30 yards and getting the first down in what Ravens' coach John Harbaugh dubbed as the play that will "go down in history."  The Ravens went on to tie the game at the conclusion of the drive with a field goal, and won the game in overtime. For his performance, he received the AFC offensive Player of the Week award [9] and the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week Award. On February 3, 2013, the Ravens defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII, earning Rice his first Super Bowl ring.

2013 season

In 2013, Rice got off to a slow start. He was injured, and the Ravens' offense was not functioning properly. He has rushed for only 420 yards on 140 carries for 4 touchdowns 11 weeks into the season. In Week 11, Rice had his best game of the season, rushing for 131 yards on 25 carries in the Ravens 23-20 overtime loss to the Bears

Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn

Lisa Olivia Munn (born July 3, 1980) is an American actress, comedian, model, television personality and author. She began her career being credited as Lisa Munn. Since 2006, she has been using the name Olivia Munn personally and professionally.

Career

Soon after she moved to Los Angeles, Munn was cast in a small role in the straight to video horror film Scarecrow Gone Wild. She appeared in rock band Zebrahead's video for their song "Hello Tomorrow" as the love interest of the lead singer Justin Mauriello.
In late 2005, Munn began her role as Mily Acuna, a teen surfer, over two seasons of the TV drama Beyond the Break on The N network. She enjoys surfing and continues to practice the sport.[14] She originally auditioned for the part of Kai, but the producers wanted a "local girl". She also appeared in the film The Road to Canyon Lake.
In 2006, Munn moved on to the G4 network, where she began co-hosting Attack of the Show! with Kevin Pereira on April 10. She replaced departing host Sarah Lane. The network, devoted to the world of video games and the video game lifestyle, was at first hesitant to hire Munn. Although she admits video games were her "weak point", she was confident in her technical knowledge. On the show, Munn was featured with journalist Anna David in a segment called "In Your Pants", which deals with sex and relationship questions from viewers. While working on Attack of the Show!, Munn hosted Formula D, a now defunct program about American drift racing, and an online podcast called Around the Net (formerly known as The Daily Nut), for G4. Munn left Attack of the Show! in December 2010 and was replaced by Candace Bailey.
Munn appeared in the Rob Schneider film Big Stan (2007). She played Schneider's character's receptionist Maria. Munn had a significant role in the horror film Insanitarium in which she played a nurse at an insane asylum. She had roles in the films Date Night (2010) and Iron Man 2 (2010). Robert Downey, Jr. praised Munn for her improvisation skills and led the crew in a round of applause. Munn hosted Microsoft's Bing-a-thon, an advertisement on Hulu for the Microsoft search-engine Bing, on June 8, 2009, alongsideJason Sudeikis. Munn appeared in ABC Family's Greek, portraying Cappie's love interest, Lana. In May 2010, NBC announced that Munn would star in the upcoming television series Perfect Couples. The half-hour romantic comedy premiered on January 20, 2011. The show was cancelled before it completed its first season run.
On June 3, 2010, Munn debuted in her new role as a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show. Her hiring prompted criticism from Irin Carmon ofJezebel, who questioned Munn's credentials and accused the show's production of sexism in hiring Munn, whom Carmon characterized as a sex symbol. Carmon saw Munn's hiring as a perpetuation of the show production office's history as a male-dominated atmosphere marginalizing and alienating to women. A group of thirty-two female Daily Show production staff members condemned Carmon's piece as inaccurate and misinformed, as did Munn herself in an interview, in which she stated that Carmon's assertion was an insult both to her and to the rest of the Daily Show staff.
In 2010, Munn guest-starred in NBC's Chuck as a CIA agent. In 2011, Munn appeared in the comedy film I Don't Know How She Does It (2011) as Momo. In2012, Munn had a leading role in The Babymakers, she appeared in Magic Mike, directed by Steven Soderbergh. She plays Sloan Sabbith on HBO's The Newsroom. She also appeared as Angie, Nick's stripper girlfriend, in three episodes of FOX's New Girl.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks (spelled as Black Hawks before 1986, and known colloquially as the Hawks) are a professional ice hockey team based in Chicago, Illinois. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). They are the current Stanley Cup champion and have won five Stanley Cup championships since their founding in 1926. The Blackhawks are one of the "Original Six" NHL teams along with the Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins and New York Rangers. Since 1994, the club's home rink is the United Center. The club had previously played for 65 years atChicago Stadium.

The club's original owner was Frederic McLaughlin, who owned the club until his death in 1944. Under McLaughlin, a "hands-on" owner who fired many coaches during his ownership, the club won two Stanley Cup titles. The club was then owned by the Norris family, which as owners of the Chicago Stadium was the club's landlord, and owned stakes in several of the NHL teams. At first, the Norris ownership was as part of a syndicate fronted by long-time executive Bill Tobin, and the team languished in favour of the Norris-owned Detroit Red Wings. After the senior James E. Norris died in 1952, the Norris assets were spread among family members and James D. Norris became owner. Norris Jr. took an active interest in the team and under his ownership, the club won one Stanley Cup title in 1961. After James D. Norris died in 1966, the Wirtz family became owners of the franchise. Although the club regularly qualified for the playoffs, the club held the league's longest championship drought from 1961 until 2010, when the club won their fourth title. In 2007, the club came under the control of Rocky Wirtz, who is credited with turning around the organization, which had lost fan interest and was uncompetitive.

AJ McCarron

Raymond Anthony "AJ" McCarron, Jr. (born September 13, 1990) is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Following the 2013 BCS National Championship Game against Notre Dame, McCarron became the first quarterback to win back-to-back consensus national championships in the BCS era. McCarron is one of only seven quarterbacks in history to win back-to-back titles in some form and the first quarterback to win back-to-back consecutive titles since Nebraska's Tommie Frazier in 1994 and 1995.[1]In addition, since his freshman/redshirt year McCarron has been associated with three national title teams under coach Nick Saban: 2009, 2011, and 2012

Early years
McCarron was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School from kindergarten to fourth grade before transferring to St. Paul's Episcopal School. At the age of 5, McCarron was severely injured in a jet-ski accident and almost died. He first played football at Trimmier Park and thenLangan Park in Mobile. He played on the same park team as Mark Barron. During McCarron's junior season of high school, St. Paul's went 14-1 and went on to win the state championship against Briarwood Christian School off a missed PAT. While attending St. Paul's, McCarron was recruited by several football programs in the Southeastern Conference, including Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi, and Tennessee. He committed to the Crimson Tide on May 3, 2008, becoming the only quarterback signed by Alabama for their 2009 recruiting class.
He capped off his high school football career at the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Eurovision 2014: A night of surprises as Conchita wins

It could have been easy to write Conchita Wurst off as a gimmick - a Eurovision novelty act known as "the bearded lady".
However when she stepped onto the stage in Copenhagen on Saturday night, it soon became clear she had both the crowd and the television audience captivated with her epic track Rise Like A Phoenix and a voice to match.
Twitter was instantly full of demands that she sing the next Bond theme, or claims that the competition was over, we could all go home. Former favourites Sweden and Armenia were edged out of the running.
Her performance in Thursday's semi-final - which we now know she won - had a similar effect, repositioning the drag act as a serious contender for this year's Eurovision crown.
'Respect and tolerance'
The momentum behind Conchita's message of acceptance had begun more than a month earlier though, with fans around the world knitting beards to show their support as a "symbol of tolerance".
In interviews she spoke about wanting to show people "that you can achieve anything" by just being yourself "and believing in yourself".
Being awarded 12 points by a dozen countries and winning the Eurovision Song Contest will surely tick that box.
"I felt like tonight Europe showed that we are a community of respect and tolerance," said Conchita during the winner's press conference.

Mors dag 2014

— (1959), band 15, sid. 849.

Dorothy Hodgkin

Dorothy Mary Hodgkin (12 May 1910 – 29 July 1994), born Crowfoot, was a British biochemist, credited with the development of protein crystallography. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1964.
She advanced the technique of X-ray crystallography, a method used to determine the three-dimensional structures of biomolecules. Among her most influential discoveries are the confirmation of the structure of penicillin that Ernst Boris Chain and Edward Abraham had previously surmised, and then the structure of vitamin B12, for which she became the third woman to win the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
In 1969, after 35 years of work and five years after winning the Nobel Prize, Hodgkin was able to decipher the structure of insulin. X-ray crystallography became a widely used tool and was critical in later determining the structures of many biological molecules where knowledge of structure is critical to an understanding of function. She is regarded as one of the pioneer scientists in the field of X-ray crystallography studies of biomolecules. Hodgkin published as Dorothy Crowfoot until 1949, when she was persuaded by Hans Clarke’s secretary to use her married name on her chapter in The Chemistry of Penicillin. Thereafter she always published as Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin.

In diesem Zeitraum gründete sie den Mother’s Day Work Club. Dieser sollte Mother’s Day of Peace heißen.
